A one-day course in the fields of IAROR and ICROMA will be held Thursday June 20th. The course is primarily aimed for PhD students, but anyone is welcome to participate.
The theme of the course is planned to be “Big data in railway operations”. Preliminary speakers will be:

13.10–13.40 Lecture 3: Data compilation and analysis of train traffic and track capacity use, Giorgio Medeossi, LIFT – Railway and Traffic Laboratory, Italy.
15.00–16.00 Lecture 4: Machine Learning theory and application, Pavle Kecman, IBM, The Netherlands.
